Personal things:

Clothes for warm, cold, dry and wet weather; toilet articles, important documents, personal medication.

 

Survival articles:

Water at least 5L per person a day, lighter, SAS survival guide, compass, Global Positioning System (GPS), medical kit, knife, etc.
